Title: "Self Medication"
Subject: Gasper "Ghost" Crane (one of  's characters)#59- Meds --- I couldn't think of any characters of someone else who depended on actual medication... if I had gotten the theme of using one of my own characters, I totally would have used Savan :'D ... but anyway, I took a less concrete meaning of the word... and used Ghost's smoking and drinking to show more of a self medication... sketched on paper with a mechanical pencil scanned and inked/colored in Painter with pencils and watercolors ... not sure if I like the effect of the watercolors... it was supposed to look smoother... but that's how watercolors are :'D oh well... |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. I love the pose and the rusty-like colors you've used.
TRUE ... the water colors don't make the piece look smooth, but it gives it a very raw feel;
I'd almost want to call it vintage, but it doesn't seem to be exactly that. I actually love it.

Okay, that's good, thanks~ I was so worried that I'd have to recolor it because they started looking more and more imperfect... but as you said, I guess that's kind of a good thing, especially for this one... never really thought of that xD
